Whip My Hair... Why?

Music has had it's ups and downs in the past but it has reached an all time low with this one.
Will Smith's daughter has entered the world of music with a song called, "Whip My Hair" that has peaked to number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Why?!
Will Smith made some great music, so if you are expecting something similar from his daughter's first single, think again. Look past the fact that she is 10 years old and Smith's daughter and you may see the song for what it is, less than OK. The repetitiveness of the chorus could make you want rip your ears off, not whip your hair back and forth. The final chorus alone repeats the line "I whip my hair back and forth" over 25 times with no interruption making it sound like a broken record. The actual lyrics of the song are decent and her voice is good (when it's not being auto-tuned). Her video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymKLymvwD2U is kid friendly video and entertaining, but do you really think music has gotten so bad that songwriters can't even pen enough lyrics to fill a three minute tune?
